My name is Dr. Maria Daves. I am a Consultant Counselling Psychologist and Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. I am a Registered Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professionals Council based in the City of London and Surrey.

My areas of expertise

I have over 20 years’ experience working with Autistic persons and in the field of Autism Spectrum Disorders.I have worked in the National Health Service in the areas of Autism, Asperger Syndrome, and Vulnerable Adults in the community, out-patients, in patients and long stay settings.

I have also worked for the National Autistic Society and The Priory Group. I have specialist experience in adult Autism and Adult ADHD, especially Autistic women and women diagnosed with ADHD. For over 16 year’s experience in providing Autism diagnostic assessments using the ADOS and ADI-r, AAA and I am an accredited in using the administration of Diagnostic Interview of Social and Communication Disorders (DISCO) Assessment tool. All assessments re the gold standard according to the NHS Clinical NICE guidelines for Autism.
